  • Go Kart- With the IPL fever sweating down and out to the next big movie release date of a biography, it has been excruciatingly painful to see that we are forgetting to encash our future in the niche sports that the country is zipping onto fast and furious. In case you had a thing for fast cars. Start with karting. It helps in practising with the racing lines and also develops a reflex of the muscles. It also helps in exercising the ribs and the breathing mechanism.
  • FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India)- This license is a mandate for being a professional at what you are aiming to do in the racing track. Anybody who is eight years or older is eligible for the license provided their parents attest to the participation and the trade. Besides membership of the karting fraternity take the race drivers a long way.
  • Tintop Racecars gives you the feel of a race and is quite professional because one can easily become a part of the national Racing Car Championships in the process of being an ace racer in this category at the preliminary stages. If one is modifying a car he has to make sure that it is done within the boundaries of the country. Also that the car’s systems are not faulty after modifications.

The track driving is an important trick to learn. One can do that by grabbing that wheel at 9 and 3 but not on 6 and 7. This means that there is no overlap of hands. The fingers should not be sliding on the wheels. This means that one should keep their hands on the sides of the wheel.

Face the weather If you want to become a seasoned race car driver, you should be ready to be going under the weather. This means that no matter what the wind, rain or light conditions are, your tyres shouldnt screech out of exhaustion. Your hands behind the wheels should beam with the confidence that is there on any other day. And not getting to a level where you reel out between lanes and lose control.

Keep Checking the Fluid Balance as a norm. An average race driver loses about 3 litres from his body in all his laps collectively. Drivers can lose up to 4 kgs due to the extreme g-forces and that should be replenished post the race. The psycho-motor correlation can seriously get affected because of not maintaining enough mineral to the fluid ratio in your body. So, it is important that one start taking a lot of fluid in prior to revving up the engines and sitting in the cockpit.

Conclusion:

This profession sure has its own risks. But, if you want to become a professional racer then you have to take chances!
