Workout without even realising it!

There are numerous activities that you can do and won’t even feel like working out. Start with a calorie busting cleaning session maybe? All the lifting, moving, bending and picking up will result in the burning of calories. Exercise need not always be about lifting weights or running! You could also consider picking up something like Wii Sport and Wii Fit games. Have fun burning those calories!

Reward yourself with a brownie! (When brownie points just aren’t enough :3)

Put ₹10 in a jar for every workout you do. Use this money to treat yourself to a monthly meal out or buy a new piece of clothing.

Try out apps that could help

App stores are filled with apps that claim to help you stay focused. Use trial and error to find the app that works best for you and stick to it. Most of these apps can monitor your workout sessions and your diet! You also get tips, advices and regular reminders. We suggest you try HEADSPACE as a point to begin.

Turn up the music

You know how music gets you moving. Most music apps have various workout playlists curated in them. Find your jam!

Maybe watch your favourite show if music doesn’t help? (We don’t judge… neither should you!)

If you’re someone who looks forward to reach home after work and start watching your series, try doing it in the gym! Instead of heading back from work and flopping onto the sofa to watch your favourite show, head to the gym and catch up while working out!

Step out of your crib!

Take your dog out for a long walk, ride a bicycle, go for a trek with friends… You have options just decide and step out!

Sign up for an event. Maybe a marathon?

Look for local events (Even online events supported by apps that measure your walking/cycling are out there!). Participate. The high you get from being able to complete an event like a marathon is definitely superior than what you’ve scored 😉

Remember being with your childhood playmates?

Those days when you were young and played with a skipping rope for hours or jumped around spinning trying to hoola hoop? Well, who asked you to grow out of it! Get a cheap skipping rope from decathlon and see what your body is able to do now!
