They have never agreed, they kept denying but the media and the fans were smart enough to understand as commenting on each other’s photos became a regular affair.
The story dates back to 2007-08 when they started travelling for bigger tournaments. Saina was very guarded about her personal life but slowly she started thanking Kashyap on social media for motivating and pushing her to do better.
The first time was when she thanked him during Commonwealth Games and then during the Asian Games when she won bronze.
They started sharing photos of them meeting various friends. This gave away to people doubting and speculating the nature of their friendship.
Saina is one of the most successful Indian sportsperson and has several accolades to her name. She received Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and Arjuna Award from the Government of India.
Kashyap trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy and he won gold at 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He was awarded Arjuna Award in 2012 from the Government of India.
The couple is all set to marry on December 16 and a grand reception will be held on 21st December. After this, Saina will get busy with Premier Badminton League and then the Tokyo Games will begin soon.
