The treatment includes proper rest, cold compress, pain relievers, shin splint stretches, supportive shoes, and physical therapy.

To prevent Shin Splints, you can start by wearing supportive shoes, starting slowly and gradually increasing your activity level, and stretching and warming up

Also, other good ways to prevent it are by using pain as a guide and trying not to push yourself. Give your muscles enough time to heal by taking proper rest.
