1. Court Dimensions

The dimensions of a pickleball court are 44 ft long and 20 ft wide, which is equivalent to 13.41 m x 6.10 m.

2. Court Layout

Each side of the pickleball court is divided into a non-volley zone and a right and left service area. The non-volley zone is positioned on either side of the net.

3. Non-Volley Zone

The non-volley zone, aka ‘Kitchen,’ is unique in pickleball. It is bound by the line parallel to the net and is 7 ft from it.

4. Service Area

The service area is beyond the non-volley zone and is on either side of the centerline. The dimensions are 15 ft (4.57 m) long and 10 ft (3.05 m) wide.

5. Net Height

The height of the pickleball net is 36 inches (0.91 m) high at the ends and 34 inches (0.86 m) at the center. The net posts are 22 feet (6.7 m) apart, measured from the insides of the posts.

6. Court Surface

The surface of the pickleball court is at least 60 ft x 30 ft. Concrete and asphalt are the materials used.

7. Court Line

After setting up a pickleball court, court lines should be 2 inches wide and be of the same color, contrasting the color of the playing surface.
