Make sure when you are sending your returns, the ball has to first hit the Front wall. After hitting the front wall, the ball can hit the side walls any number of times. But, the striker has to pick the return before the ball lands on the floor twice, else the point is given to the non-striker.

2) Do not let the ball touch your body

The ball shouldn’t come in contact with your body. If it is your turn to pick up the shot and the ball hits your body, then the point is given to the opponent. In any case, where the ball-play is obstructed by the players, the Marker has every right to decide on who gets the points.

3) The player who scores 11 points first wins the game

Every game is played till 11 points. Whoever scores 11 first, takes the game. In case both the players are tied at 10 points, then the game is played till a difference of 2 points is achieved. The match is either best of 3 or 5.

4) There is no break between rallies

Unlike Tennis, where there is a delay between points played, in Squash, all the rallies are continuous until the game is won. After winning a game, a break of 90 seconds is permitted.

5) At any point during the game, if your shot might cause an injury to the opponent or yourself, you can drop it

At this juncture, a let is called out. You need to inform the Marker immediately in case such incidents happen.
