If you don’t want to spend a lot, or just go to the mall then here are some things to do in Bangalore tomorrow

LOOKING FOR THINGS TO DO IN BANGALORE TOMORROW? Bangalore is known as the ‘Garden City’ of India, and despite the crazy traffic and the increase in buildings, it’s still one of the most diverse cities in the country.

You’ll find people from all over the world living in this metropolitan city. But how come people choose to live in this Indian city above all others?

For one, the climate here is quite bearable; it’s never too hot nor too cold in Bangalore. Also, most people in Bangalore speak English, and this helps as most foreigners don’t understand the local language.

But most of all, Bangalore is a city that emits a fun, exciting vibe, and the people who live here love adventure and the chance to explore. And the best part is, you can experience the adventurous side of Bangalore without spending a lot of money. Here are 5 activities that will cost you less than INR 250 to try out.

1) Enjoy Go Karting

Go karting tracks in Bangalore often host kart races with unbelievable prizes. But even if you’re a newbie and want to drive on a road without any traffic, Go Karting is one activity that you need to try out.

Most tracks have different types of go karts, each customized accordingly with different horsepower. Some of these may even cost you upto INR 500 to rent for a single race. However, the slowest karts on every track (and these are pretty fast) cost anywhere between INR 150 and INR 250.

The best places to kart in Bangalore are Meco Kartopia on Hennur-Bagalur road, Red Rider Sports in Sarjapur, Patel’s Inn, located in R.T Nagar, and Raceway Motorsports on Kanakapura Main Road. These locations are a little far away from the centre of the city, but traffic isn’t so bad on the way there and driving those karts is definitely worth the trip.

2) Go on Trek

The outer limits of Bangalore city is crowded with numerous hills that are perfect for the avid trekker. All you have to do is find a car and a group of friends and make your way to the outskirts of Bangalore.

You can trek nearly all the hills located in this area, and finding your way back down should be a piece of cake. If you’re looking for popular hills in the area, try the Makalidurga, Ramanagara, or Madhugiri hills. Of course, there are tour guides to take you up and down these hills, but you can adventure up the hill on your own if you’d like to. Since so many people visit the place, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find your way back down.

3) Try Water Zorbing

Ever wanted to walk on water? Well with Zorbing, now you can! This sport involves a large inflatable sphere with a zippered entrance through which you can enter the ball.

This ‘ball’ is then placed on a body of water (in this case a large swimming pool) and you have to try ‘walking’ on the water as efficiently as possible. It’s a unique experience to meander over the water’s surface and even more fun when you watch your friends struggling to prevent themselves from falling inside the ball.

If you’re up for some Zorbing, Sarjapur has a few places like PLaY Arena and Red Rider Sports that are perfect for the activity, and they charge no more than INR 300.

4) Try out Target Shooting

Here’s your chance to legally fire a gun in India. And for the price of INR 150, you get 20 shots with an air rifle! Where, you ask? At Nishaan Sports Academy, located in the NGV complex in Koramangala.

Whether you’re an expert rifleman, or you’re handling a gun for the first time, Nishaan Sports Academy caters to everyone’s needs. It’s open from Tuesday to Sunday, so even if you haven’t got time on the weekdays, you can definitely pay this place a visit during the weekend.

5) Enjoy Wall Climbing

Now perhaps Wall climbing isn’t as intense as Rock climbing, but it’s nothing to shrug at! Wall climbing involves navigating your way up a vertical wall with the help of hand and foot-holds located on the wall. Easy, right?

Not really. Wall climbing is a strenuous physical activity and requires a ton of patience and focus. If you’re a fitness aficionado, or someone who loves to test their physical capabilities, Wall climbing is for you!

If you’re into this, make your way to Equilibrium Climbing Station, located on Residency Road. The place is really well-maintained and INR 250 is a complete steal when you consider that you’ll have access to the place for at least 2 hours.

6) Play Badminton/ Tennis/ Football at a sports facility

7) Take a swim

Summer is kicking it up in the city and what better thing to do than stay inside all day and binge watch your favourite TV show? Get yourself a dip at the nearest pool at less than 300 bucks in Bangalore.

8) Engage in a Paintball battle

This might look easy from the viewer’s side but you have no idea how it feels until you get on to the field, all armoured to shoot some crazy coloured balls at your opponents. There a plenty of venues in Bangalore that offer you some quality paintball experience like PlaY Arena (Sarjapur), Red Rider Sports (Sarjapur), Paintball X, etc. This is one of the best activities for a gang of more than 6 and it is super fun.

So if you’re looking for some adventure on a tight budget, these are a few options that won’t cause a dent in your pocket. If you know of any other inexpensive activities in Bangalore, let us know in the comments.
