Jiu-Jitsu also called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is more than a sport, more than a martial art. It’s ultimately a way of life.

Jiu-Jitsu was originated in Japan and was popularised by Carlos Gracie of Brazil. Therefore, it is also called the BJJ or GJJ

This key concept originated in Japan but was popularized by a Brazilian, Carlos Gracie. Thus, the game is also called Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (GJJ). In Brazil, they called Judo as Jiu-Jitsu, that’s how the new name also gained popularity.
